Open Knowledge Conference.
As the leading international open knowledge event, the Open Knowledge Conference (2011 website here) has gathered top-level experts, decision-makers, advocates, and researchers from all over the world each year to debate and advance this rapidly developing field.
The last Open Knowledge Conference was held in Berlin, Germany in June of 2011. Organised by the Open Knowledge Foundation with a multitude of stakeholders, partners and friends, the event gathered together over 400 actors from various segments of open knowledge (open data, open content, open access, open hardware, etc) for two days of satellite events, talks, workshops and discussions to foster a series of new public ecosystems in these areas and build new collaborations.
