Sven König est né en Allemagne en 1975 et a étudié diverses choses, dont le multimédia et la philosophie. Son dispositif sCrAmBlEd?HaCkZ! se présente comme une installation composée d’une télévision, d’une table basse et d’un sofa : elle recrée une situation de consommation passive typique. Cependant, la présence d’un microphone et d’un joystick détourne cette situation et invite à la participation. Dès qu’un son est émis dans le micro, il est doublé de sons équivalents piochés dans une banque de donnée de clips des années 80. En utilisant le joystick, on interfère un peu plus avec les images vidéos. Toute la musique est là, prête à jouer, tout ce qu’il est nécessaire de faire, c’est de chanter !

Sven König was born in Germany in 1975 and he studied several subjects such as multimedia and philosophy. The installative version of s?H! serves as the possiblity to let the audience experience the technical fascination of the project which plays a major role. It recreates a typical TV consumption situation: a TV, a small table, a couch.
However, an additional microphone and a joystick turn the setting into the complete opposite and demand action without confronting the users with a complicated interface to the computer which should be as unnoticable as possible (in both terms of visibility and general perceptibility). Just thinking music out loudly is all what is necessary and if one should start enjoying it, it is possible, using the joystick, to interfere a bit more targeted with the musicvideos happening.
