Kalvo & mesq
Kalvo & mesq are the avantgarde musicians Lasse Kaikkonen
and Mikko Heikkilä reinforced with media artist Mika Meskanen.
Together they conduct audiovisual performances. Kalvo's soundscapes create
intense ambience with improvised playing of electronic and acoustic instruments
and natural sounds. Visuals create narrative and cinematic framework to
the performance. Together the trio works with continuos re-defining of
the dialogue between sound and vision.
