Frédéric [K-Project] Beaulieu (Montreal)
K-project defined as a collective of artist whose core is constituted
by Frédéric Beaulieu and Valérie Leduc.
They are creators of atmospheres or, more exactly, visual landscapes.
These atmospheres are elaborated from concepts which vary according to
the event, basing themselves on this guideline of the world to be discovered
through a digital vision. K-project has performed during numerous electronic
and cultural events such as the X / Fest in New-York, the International
Festival of new cinema new media, the Montreal Électronique
Groove (MEG), the FIND (Festival international de nouvelle
danse), SAT[mix_sessions] events, many famous nights at the most reputated
afterhour in Quebec, the ARIA, etc.
Frédéric Beaulieu, founder member of K-project, pays a particular
attention to colors. His artistic step consists in extracting from video
sequences, layers that he modifies, re-colors and stacks to increase by
it, the sensations which are connected with the global image. He also
contributes to develop image treatment in real time by integrating innovative
technologies and tools such as joystick and midi controllers.
Frédéric [K-Project] Beaulieu participates in pikseliÄHKY
2003 as a member of the SAT[mix_sessions]
crew.
